Sri Lanka

In 1998 Pedley Wheel Trust installed the first overseas Pedley Wheel in Sri Lanka. The site was surveyed in December 1997 and the wheel was providing electricity for the twenty four houses in this village three months later. The cost was approximately GBP 5,000 to provide 2.5 kW. Five further installations have now been completed providing electricity for over one thousand people. Four more are underway during 2004/5.
